Ah-ha! This piece in its monoprint form tantalized me for weeks and weeks, and getting the courage to work into it was daunting. I decided to "go for it" today with the thought that I probably would ruin it. . . . and thought I had ruined it at one point (nothing like negative conditioning.) However, I just continued drawing into it sparingly. When I stopped and stood back, an involuntary shiver went through me, and I knew it was finished. Nothing like the visceral aspect of making art! Among the uniqueness of this piece is the use of the white paper, next to white pastel.
