Today I delivered MAKING THEIR MARKS - all 63 pieces - to Green Mountain Fine Art Gallery for installation. As I drove toward the gallery, I could feel a weight lifting from my shoulders. This work has been 3 years in the making, from the earliest experimental pieces to a couple of pieces I finished this year to round out the series. It is certainly work that prepared me to undertake this project, the Lamoille Project, and so many of the lessons I learned, working in the square format, have been put to use in The Lamoille Project. If you haven't seen for yourself, visit http://www.makingtheirmarks.blogspot.com/ for nightly updates between now and the opening of the exhibit on November 20.
